simply soccer staff

My name is Tony Tamanini and I have been involved with soccer for several years. I am a father of three (6,2 and 6 months) and moved to Harford County in 2006. Currently, I am both a coach and board member with Hickory as well as the instructor for the coaches clinic and director of Simply Soccer Camp.

I played organized ball with Baltimore Football Club, joining the team when I was 10 years old.  We won the state and regional championships three times and the national championships once.  I graduated from Archbishop Curley High School in 1997 with two MIAA Conference championships and captained the team my final year.  I was a four year starter at Stevenson University and captained the team three years.  I currently hold individual records for a single season with 25 goals and 9 assists, totaling 59 points; which ranked second in the nation.  I also hold individual career records with 59 goals and 36 assist, totaling 154 points.  After graduating in 2001, I continued to play indoor, outdoor and futsol at a competitive level.  Since, my team has been very successful winning 21 state, 17 regional, and 6 national championships.  In 2002, I traveled to Korea representing Team USA in the futsol world championships.
