simply soccer staff

My name is Tony Tamanini and I have been involved with soccer for several years. I am a father of four and look forward to coaching my children over the upcoming seasons. Currently, I am on the board of directors with Hickory Soccer and Old Line F.C, organize the coach’s clinic for Hickory’s fall season, and direct this camp. I graduated from Archbishop Curley High School in 1997 with two MIAA Conference championships and captained the team my final year. I was a four-year starter at Stevenson University and captained the team three years. I received All-American honors, currently hold several individual records, and was inducted into Stevenson’s Inaugural Hall of Fame class in 2014. After graduating in 2001, I continued to play indoor, outdoor and futsal at a competitive level. Since, my team has been very successful winning several state, regional and national championships. In 2002, I traveled to Korea representing Team USA in the futsal world championships. I was the assistant coach with Stevenson University Woman’s team in 2003 and with Harford Community College Woman’s team in 2004 and 2005.
